Ive just about run out of material for this blog, however if i do find anything new ( or old new) then it will appear here

This Blog shows just some of the stuff that 1st Melbourne, and 1st Eccleshall Scouts got upto at the 11th Haarlem Jamborette at Spaarnwoude, in Holland over the Summer of 2011, during the event the blog was updated live from the camp itself with pictures and information about events and activities from the Haarlem Jamborette as and when they happened - you can see what we did below.

Haarelm Jamborette re-union/get together

The postponed re union is back on again this weekend, at the plough inn on Saturday the 14th of January from 7pm onwards.

 Families are invited to attend, as previously advised in the letter that was sent out, and there will also be a bufet provided.

The Plough inn is located at Utoxeter on the A518 Stafford Road, see google maps here

Re-union get together postponed

We have become aware that the Haarlem Jamborette re-union, planned for Saturday the 3rd of December has clashed with a few other events,

and as a result not many people would have been able to attend.

Because of this Dave, Helen, and myself have taken the decision to postpone the re-union until the new year,

and the new Date is Saturday the 14th of January, at the plough inn Utoxeter from 7pm onwards

In case your not already aware the evening is a chance for Scouts, their parents and families to get together

and to see what exactly we got up during our 12 days in Holland over the Summer.

As there will be a buffet provided we would need an idea of numbers, Camp participants will be able to attend for free,

but there will be a nominal charge of £2.00 towards the buffet for others.

A Letter with a return slip/return and some information will be issued shortly.

There is also a new(ish) visoe on youtube featuring some familiar faces, uploaded by the TV film crew who were at the haarlem jamborette, alot of it is in Dutch, but theres still quite a bit in English
