And that Day, we had Jambo Tours,
We also had Bacon, Beans (oddly described as white beans in the camp food book) and scrambled egg on the breakfast menu
Soon we were on the bus, heading towards the Stoommachine Museum:
https://stoommachinemuseum.nl/
In the morning we still had some heavy rain, however by the afternoon the rain stopped, and the sun started to break through
For the trip, the entire group ( three coachloads) was split into four groups, A, B, C, D
Groups A and B were off outside, some at the beach area for some games, and some in boats outside
with Groups C and D inside for the first part, we were inside in the morning ( when it was rinaing) and outside in the afternoon when it had stopped raining :)
This place had live steam engines fed from the original boilers, which were demonstrated to the Scouts
After a bit of time, there we headed back to the steam museum where we were told that there was another activity on some peddle boats/paddle boats ( ?? )
What we got was an activity set up by a Second world war recfreation group, using some old pontoon boats and a race had been set up, paddle the boats round a bouy, and back again, the first group to sound the air raid siren was the winner
And the winners...
And after that Zorbs
Evening meal was done ( spicy egg fried rice with chicken) mokkie, then bed
Day 8 would see us on the Sports field/area
