Re - cap Thursday 1st August

It was a wet start on the 1st of August, as we headed off through Gate C to get on the bus

Which took us to the boat, where the scouts were soon full of energy and running around

After a little wait, we went back ashore and headed into an old pumping engine room/mueseum, then back on the boat as it got underway, Video below ( auto created by google photos app)

Once the boat trip part was done we headed ashore for some Beach games ( apart form one scout who left his bag on the boat and had to sprint back to retrieve it - just in time)

Once back on site, we had the evening meal, of Chicken pesto pasta , then in the evening it was the Subcamp campfire

Adn when that was done, there was just enough time to visit the mokkie for 30 minutes or so.

Day 6 done, halfway through the camp - The next day would bring us to Jambo Tours, and a steam museum...
