Just had the evening meal, and some of the Scouts have managed to make it to the showers (without having to be told that they are beginning to smell a bit)
The showers, our to be more precise the showering process here at the haarlem jamborette is a little different to other camps. Highly effecient, yes. Relaxing no.
There's a large marquee with a wooden floor, and in that a long row of cubicles
At the entrance to all this is the "shower guard" who asks if you can speak and read english At which point you are told the rules: Partially undress at bench, put clothes in plastic bag, enter shower cubicle, close curtain finish undressing, in private shower cubicle, put rest of clothes in other bag shower, partially dry and re dress, leave cubicle finish drying and dressing by bench.
