So today the scouts have had various activities on the trail, stone may have even been filmed fur the official camp youtube channel/face book. Tonight's meal was chicken meat in flat bread, with watermelon.
Tomorrow we have arts and crafts.

End of day
Food next
The scouts are just returning from from the trail activities, most of them have headed to the shower block. Next supply from what we understand tonight it's turkish style kebabs with watermelon for dessert. Tonight's extra activity is the Subcamp campfire.

Morning
Just had breakfast, we have cornflakes, bread cheese, cold meat, nutella by the bucket load (6 large jars), haggelslag sprinkles, fruit, and homus. Next up flag break them the scouts are on activities from 10, today its trail. Around the main haarlem jamborette campsite.
Trail
Today they are on the trail, we have archery, tensegrity, blood splash (?) Sock wrestling, mad max and more

Day six
Today has been reasonably relaxed. Melbourne have been to Nemo, and eccleshall have been to naturalis.
We have also been back on site a bit earlier, the weather had changed to dry and mostly sunny and this has given us the chance for a bit of a sort out, and the scouts have also had to sort out and tidy their tents remove litter etc.
Tonights evening meal was chicken pesto pasta, we will find out what tomorrow's evening meal is when we pick up the ingredients box tomorrow from 5pm.
Add the weather is now much warmer, we are trying to make sure that the scouts have plenty to drink, colour charts have appeared by the toilets.
Tomorrow we have activity trail, there's already a video of this on the official camp youtube channel.
Also this evening the scouts have found the internet facilities.

We're currently heading back to camp on the bus from nemo with a load a Spanish scouts from malaga

End of day 4
After getting back from Amsterdam we made the trip up to the Subcamp area to pick up the ingredients for tonight's meal, chicken tortilla wraps with salsa and sour cream with fresh fruit salad fur dessert. and the scouts have recently returned back in their tents after the "mokkie" closed.plus
Tommorow melbourne are off to Nemo science museum in Amsterdam, and eccleshall are off to naturallis Aust leiden.
Train back to camp
So far today we've been to amsterdam, where the scouts had a bit of time to explore the city in small groups. They all managed to make it to the meet point. from there we split into two groups, melbourne and a few from eccleshall caught a tram to slotterpark swimming pool, then back again on the tram.
We are now on the train back to the campsite.
Swimming
Just been to the swimming pool, so those who have yet to discover the showers at camp should be clean. Next the journey from Slotterpark to Amsterdam then back to camp.
Scouts in Amsterdam
We triedto go to the Anne Frank house, however as we couldn't pre book, and the que was three hours long, the scouts are currently shopping in Amsterdam.
Morning
Just had breakfast now flag break. Today is day off and we will be all heading to Amsterdam, taking the train from the campsite to Amsterdam central station. Melbourne will then head off to the scheepvaart museum for a while, and eccleshall are going to nemo, from there some free time in the shopping area then its a tram ride to slotterpark swimming pool, before returning to camp. Tomorow we have jambo tours, Melbourne at nemo, and eccleshall at naturallis

Hikes day,
Were all back from the polder hike, there's still a group put on the punisher.
Tonight's meal was chicken satay, vegetables and egg fried rice.
Tomorrow is a day of and shopping in Amsterdam, more later connection allowing
Morning
Today it's hikes day, those on the long distance 40km/25 mile punisher hike have just left. And those of us on the polder hike are due at the hike team tent at 9.
Weve had a few last minute changes as to who does what hike more later.... Next breakfast.

Mokkie

Evening
Just had the evening meal, and some of the Scouts have managed to make it to the showers (without having to be told that they are beginning to smell a bit)
The showers, our to be more precise the showering process here at the haarlem jamborette is a little different to other camps. Highly effecient, yes. Relaxing no.
There's a large marquee with a wooden floor, and in that a long row of cubicles
At the entrance to all this is the "shower guard" who asks if you can speak and read english At which point you are told the rules: Partially undress at bench, put clothes in plastic bag, enter shower cubicle, close curtain finish undressing, in private shower cubicle, put rest of clothes in other bag shower, partially dry and re dress, leave cubicle finish drying and dressing by bench.
